This course combines interpreting drama from an actor’s point of view as well as appreciating drama from a historical and literary perspective. The student will focus on the mastery of key elements of interpreting a text including character, blocking, voice and diction, stage environment, emotional beats and theatre history. Through scenes and monologues, students will effectively communicate the elements of acting to a live audience. 8 spots available.
