What if you sounded like you walked right out of the musical Oklahoma? It is all possible — and more! — once you learn how to isolate the different sounds of the dialect. In this class, we will explore a number of dialects (selected by the class) and learn how to break them down and sound them out. We will work on monologues and scenes using different accents in preparation for a final performance. Includes 30 minute lunch break and a brief showcase at 3:00 PM.
