High School Acting Intensive – Level III

This focused camp is recommended for those who have completed grades 9 – 12, including those who have just graduated. This acting camp will focus on workshopping an end of camp small venue performance. Each student will have the opportunity to work on stage or behind the scenes in creating an all-class production. The students will create set designs, sets, costumes, make-up concepts, and characterizations. Students will be expected to memorize lines and be familiar with the play before the start of rehearsal. This is considered a learning experience with emphasis on characterization, realism and embodiment of character ending in a final performance for family and friends.  There will be a strong focus on advanced acting techniques. Although there is a short list of titles being considered, the show will be chosen to best fit the students interested in the course. Shows on June 9 at 7:00 PM and June 10 at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM. 10 spots available.
