Sewing for Shrek Jr

In this class, students will get hands-on experience of what it is like to work in the costume shop for a production. They will each be making a piece that will be worn on stage for our spring production, Shrek Jr. They will be guided through the process of making mockups out of muslin (to make sure our costume pieces fit the actors), then completing the final costume piece with the fabric. The class will meet for 8 weeks, taking a break for Lebanon’s spring break the week of 3/30. Each student will also get a one-on-one session with the instructor in addition to the 8 classes. This will be scheduled later, based on the instructor’s and students’ schedules.
